The Producer
Mic Delgado (also known as Joseph Michael Delgado) is a Philippine-based music producer and Filipino audio engineer. His skill set includes recording, editing, mixing, mastering, composing, songwriting, beat-making, and plugin design.
He earned certifications from Berklee College of Music in The Art of Music Production and The Technology of Music Production — programs directed by award-winning composer, musician, producer, and engineer Mr. Stephen Webber, and taught by Mr. Loudon Stearns, associate professor in the Contemporary Writing & Production department at Berklee.
Mic also received certification in Digital Audio Production from an online workshop on recording, editing, and mixing, instructed by Mr. Mark Yulo, CEO of YAVL Training Center, and co-instructed by Mr. Anthony P. Yabes, a certified member of the Sound Technology Institute of the Philippines, Inc.
He further honed his skills in Music Production and Mixing with certifications in FL Studio and Logic Pro X from Digital Music Masters, under the instruction of Mr. Tomas George, Christopher Carvalho, and Ian Alexander.
Throughout both his professional (Genesis Records) and independent career, Mic has been involved in producing demos, covers, singles, EPs, and albums — focusing on hip-hop, pop, OPM, and rock. He has worked with independent and professional artists/bands, helping them reach the full potential of their records for commercial release.
Mic also produces his own beats across a variety of genres, using industry-standard tools and brands.
After a long hiatus in 2022, Mic returned to build his own music recording studio — Manila Recording Studio — with the vision of creating a true home for talented artists in need of commercial-quality production.
